So last night it stormed and stormed and stormed and then stormed some more. Now, when I was little, I was TERRIFIED of storms, but as I grew older, I really didn't care. Hmmm.... yeah, not so much anymore... It started raining around midnight and then stormed from 1AM to about 5:30. Lets just say I didn't crawl into bed until around 5:30 this morning. I was pissed, haha. I tried to fall asleep, but no go.
Tonight, Dad and I met up in Stevens Point and carpooled to Almond, WI where we had supper at Two Lakes. You can ask anyone you want, but unless they tell that Two Lakes has the best pizza ever, they're lieing. I've been going to Two Lakes with family since I was young and I suppose just being back there tonight felt nice and homelike. I appreciated it, and I was super excited that Dad wanted to go. We had a great meal and an even better conversation together.
As for tonight, no big plans. Just going to go put my PJs on soon and curl up on the couch and finish a book. I'm currently reading the autobiography of Fran Drescher (The Nanny). I never knew she had cancer! It's an awesome book full of humor, sad times, and dirty thoughts... I love it!
