August 7, 2010

Well, It's seven days in and I don't even know where to begin! Maybe with the basics, huh? Sure thang :)
I graduated from high school less than three months ago and I worked my butt of in the beginning of summer to be able to afford to move out on my own, and guess what? It worked! So here I am, in my beautiful one bedroom apartment, living in the Wausau, Wisconsin area awaiting school to start!
I'm originally from Wisconsin Rapids which is well over fifty miles from here. Within Rapids resides my dad - John, my brother - Brother, my sister-in-law - Cassie, my niece - Hallie, and of course my aunts, uncles, cousins, and grandmother live there also. My mom, Penny, lives a good two hours away from here in Baraboo, Wisconsin. Now, I'm not TOTALLY alone here in Wausau... I do have my mom's best friend, Lynn, and her daughter - Justine who just live a few exits off the interstate up. They've been awesome at making sure I have everything I need and whatnot. And then there's Espy. My adorable two year old cat who's just a bucket of play and love! It's like she knows when I'm scared and when I need extra love. Like just last night, it was my first night sleeping in my bedroom than rather on the couch, and Espy never ONCE left my side. She's such a sweetie.
Onto the more exciting stuff!
Like I said, I'm 7 days in on my own and I'm still alive! Things are going very well so far with no major problems. I recieved my first bill in the mail yesterday, it's due the 25th, so don't let me forget to pay it! Ha!
As for now, I'm just filling my days with cleaning and running errands. I've been trying to get out as much as possible in the area, just to get familiar with everything, you know? It's been working, too :)
I'm also trying to find a church to call home. So far I've just been to one, St. Mary's. My mom thinks that I should try a "Born Against Christian" Church, so I think I found one to try tomorrow morning. My brother would be so proud, getting my faith back and all. For so long last year I had a hard time believing in God, but now I know I'm on the right track in trying to find out which church best suits me as a believer!
I haven't much left to say tonight, but I'll be around!
